Class Descriptions
Mindful Mornings (Before School Yoga + Play) 1.5 hrs
Students will:
Practice yoga + mindfulness
Free play
Explore creative art
At the end of this class students will go to the bus stop in front of the Piermont Thrift Store. Must register in advance!
Kids Mindfulness Matters 45 min.
Students will:
Build confidence and patience
Learn how to identify different emotions and how to respond rather than react
Understand the significance of self-love
Develop skills to manage and reduce stress
Strengthen healthy conflict resolution skills
Improve listening skills
Practice returning their attention to the present moment
This class primarily focuses on fostering loving-kindness, emotional awareness, healthy boundaries, and mindful listening.
Kids Night Out 2 hrs.
Students will:
Participate in creative Play (will be outdoors when possible)
Practice Yoga
Have option to play board games
Read + write
Please note: this is not babysitting. It’s been mindfully crafted to teach developmentally appropriate social and emotional skills to kids ages 2-12. All head teachers for KNO are college graduates and have their First Aid/CPR certificates.

Yoga Sculpt 1 hr.
Yoga sculpt is a one hour power flow class suited for any level yogi. This class can be easily tailored to meet your body where it is at while working on breath, balance, endurance and strength of your mind and body. Yoga sculpt provides additional support to your regular yoga practice.
Royal Yoga 45 min.
So your little one wants to be a prince or princess…but what does that entail? Being regal means being kind, compassionate, and helpful to others. Each class consists of yoga and mindfulness practices/games, meaningful group discussions, and an arts and crafts project to tie it all together. This class is for children 3 to 8 years old.
Gamer Yoga 45 min.
Want to know the secret to being the best gamer around? Yoga and meditation breaks! Classes will be themed around whichever (non-violent) video games students are most interested in. Learn ways to clear your mind and improve posture on your mat and take these skills home to use when you game.
Candlelight Yoga 75 min.
Wind down after your day with a gentle yoga flow. This is a reflective and restorative class intended to help us close out our days with peace and intention. A creatively curated class, no two candlelight yoga classes are alike.
Rise n Shine Yoga 1 hr.
Dedicate your morning to yourself with an invigorating early morning yoga class. We begin slowly warming up our bodies from our nights rest and end by mindfully setting our intentions for the coming day.
Yoga + Mindfulness for Beginners 75 min.
Come and enjoy a foundational vinyasa flow. Expect cues to be clear and with a focus on alignment. This is the perfect class for those who are just beginning their yoga practice, or for those who are looking for more clear direction and an understanding of alignment.
Personal Training 1 hr.
Enjoy a custom work out plan that will be catered to your fitness goals.
Boot Camp 1 hr.
Workouts consist of cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and stretching using body weight. No two boot camp classes are the same.
Youth Fitness 1 hr.
Designed for boys and girls ages 8 to 12 years old, this class will teach proper posture through strength training. Students will develop a foundation for success in any sport by focusing on speed, agility and coordination.
Core Conditioning 1 hr.
Classes are designed to build core muscle groups while improving posture. This is done by strengthening the abdomen and back muscles as well as increasing flexibility.
*All Peace in Piermont classes end with a 10-minute
mindfulness meditation.
Workshops
“Miniscapes”
In this workshop you will be introduced to the miniature world of terrariums. A terrarium is a glass vessel filled with small plants, rocks, soil, mosses, crystals, and virtually any decorative element you can imagine. Think of them like tiny gardens that mimic real landscapes. After learning some terrarium construction and maintenance basics, you will get to build your very own living biome to take home with you!
